All what Ms. Kgomo from Ga Matlala needed was a wheelchair for her disabled daughter of 8 years, who never had a mobility device all her life. Government hospitals have been sending her from pillar to post whenever she requested a wheelchair. Fortunately, we had a used wheelchair we could provide her with.
Many of the disability cases we deal with are like the Kgomo case— requests for standard mobility and/or assistive devices.
